Loujanna “LJ” Rohreris running for the Pierce County Council District 6 position. Pierce County has been home to LJ for over 44 years, it’s where she met her husband, raised a family and continues to serves her community. With a proven track record of leadership, service and commitment to Pierce County, LJ is the right choice for the district.

District 6 has approximately 131,500 constituents and encompasses the areas of Lakewood, Steilacoom, DuPont, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Anderson/Ketron/McNeil islands, and the unincorporated communities of Parkland, Arrowhead and Partridge Glen.

Public Safety & Rising Crime

Addressing the epidemic of rising crime and the fentanyl crisis requires restoring law and order through community policing, supporting law enforcement with full staffing and recruitment, and ensuring accountability in our criminal justice system. Advocacy at the state level will be crucial in these efforts.

Mental Health & Drug Abuse

Recognizing the link between mental health issues and homelessness, LJ will prioritize mental health services and addiction treatment, working to de-stigmatize mental illness and providing support for those seeking recovery.

Affordable Living & Housing

Affordability touches every aspect of daily life, from housing to healthcare and education. LJ will advocate for policies that make essential goods and services more affordable, including initiatives to increase affordable housing supply, reduce business restrictions, and address income disparities through fair tax policies.
